Faculty of Geography Universitas Gadjah Mada becomes a world-class Center of Excellence in Geography Sciences, distinguished and innovative in realizing sustainable development, serving the interests of the nation and humanity guided by the cultural values of the nation based on Pancasila.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. Conducting internationally standardized education to develop individuals who are faithful and devout to the One Almighty God, possessing noble character, excellence, and skills in the field of Geography, serving the interests of the nation and humanity.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Conducting research in the field of Geography with international standards.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Conducting community service that provides solutions to environmental issues through a Geographic Approach.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Establishing multi-stakeholder cooperation networks at national, regional, and global levels.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Enhancing good institutional governance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Goals<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    To establish the Faculty of Geography Universitas Gadjah Mada as the best geography faculty in Indonesia with a global reputation through:<\/span><\/p>\n

Providing internationally recognized higher education in Geography that is excellent and innovative to produce graduates who are outstanding, have character, possess a lifelong learning spirit, and able to collaborate and be responsive to environmental, societal, national, and state issues based on local values. <\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Conducting regional and environmental research oriented towards sustainability that serves as a national reference.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Providing community service capable of promoting community self-reliance and well-being sustainably.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Developing collaborative networks with other institutions synergistically to gain national and international recognition and reputation.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Realizing efficient, transparent, integrity-driven, professional, fair, equal, participatory, academically free, and synergistic faculty governance, fostering effectiveness and efficiency in resource utilization.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
